Dr Suhas Tumkur

suhas Dr. Dr Suhas completed his Bachelor Degree in Dental Surgery (BDS) and Master Degree in Dental Surgery (Prosthodontics) in India. Dr Suhas also holds a masters degree in Health Service Management from La Trobe University, Melbourne. Dr Suhas has completed and satisfied all requirements of the Australian Dental Councils general dental registration exam for overseas dentists.

Dr Suhas has dedicated a decade of service in dentistry and dental education as a tutor. His main area of expertise is aesthetic (cosmetic) dental work, Implant dentistry and crown and bridge work. He has worked both in public and private practices and has an excellent understanding of the modern dental patients needs.

Dr Suhas has a very compassionate philosophy when it comes to caring for patients who are bed ridden and needing professional dental care. He makes every effort to provide necessary dental treatment at their bedside by travelling regularly to aged care facilities. We are proud to say that this philosophy of care is present at Coolangatta Dental Group. Dr Suhas and his skilled assistants have a mobile dental unit which allows them to care for residents at aged care facilities and to provide home visits in and around Coolangatta area.

Being passionate about teaching, Dr Suhas dedicates time regularly to tutor undergraduate dental students at Griffith Universitys Dental and Oral Health School in Gold Coast.

suhas Dr. Dr. Jasthi considers the patient as the most important person in the dental office. Each dental procedure requires a special skill and Dr. Jasthi believes in performing each procedure with extreme respect for the patient's body and meeting the esthetic demands of his patients.

He was the only dental officer on the island nation and made invaluable contribution and suggestions during his stay in Nauru which which were even recognised by the then health minister of the country.
